Here's the finished painting bit rough round the edges on the background but I like it that way at the moment. I'm currently working on some stencil versions of this for a painting jam called Paint and Beer I'm taking part in in a couple of weeks. So stay tuned.

The Last Hole


Just finished Drilling all the holes in the vacuum table top. Now just got to get it all working. Got lots of screen printing stuff being delivered next week so on the home stretch now.

Ink Painting Process (Part 1)


In order to understand what I do when I'm painting I'm trying a little experiment. I've been taking photos of a portrait of Son House I started today (so far 45 minutes of painting). More later....

Screen Printing Setup Part 1



Here are a couple of photos of the underside of the vacuum table I'm making for my screenprint setup. Its made from a laminated table top I got from the dump (nothing like free wood). The table is 120cm x 80cm with a vacuum area of 110cm x 60cm. The channels are being done with a router and the holes in the top are drilled with a 2mm bit. Fingers crossed its gonna work.

Busy with Wood
